Cassidy (Freestyle) Bring back Da Basement!! #Throwback

With all this hype about us wanting to see Cassidy and Meek Mill battle, I felt a need to go find a clip of a Cassidy freestyle on B.E.T's Rap City Da Basement. Check it Out!

Watching this brought back so many childhood memories. Why did they cut off Rap City? I really have no clue because watching MCs like Cassidy spit a hot freestyle kept my interest growing up. Rap City kept and brought the rawness to hip-hop and here is where many artist began. In the next couple of weeks I will be posting some of Rap City's Hot Freestyle and I might even post some throwback Yo MTV Raps so stay tuned! Make sure to express your thoughts, comment and give us some feedback and suggestions!!!

#RealityTV Death of Artist & Athletes

My List

Athletes

Terrell Owens

Well lets start this blog of with of course T.O. T.O is...my bad was, a pretty good Wide Receiver for the San Francisco 49ers in 1996 and  throughout his football career he wasa traded to different teams, due to anger problems. Owens career ended with the Cincinnati Begals in 2010. Long career Owens had right? Yes, T.O. had a long career and some might even say that the reason his career ended is because of his age. However I don't. Owens football career was pretty consistent (minus his temper tantrums). Owens "age" did not come to light until he starred in his own reality show. "The T.O. Show" displayed his personal life getting him caught up in the spot light. Well T.O. at least you will have an early retirement or maybe you can get a spot on sportscenter one day.

Ochocinco

Chad Ochocinco is the perfect example of what I am talking about in this post. Ochocinco is a Pro Bowl Wide Receiver, who played with the Cincinnati Bengals as Chad Johnson from 2001-2010. Good career Right? Yes, I guess you can say Ochocinco was doing his thing, but Ochocinco is only 34 years old and his career has already ended before he even obtained a Super Bowl ring. So why isn't Ochocinco still playing football? Well once he starred in his own reality show, The Ultimate Catch he stopped being the All-star Wide Receiver that we were use to seeing, however he still played for a football team. It wasn't until he married, Basketball Wives reality show personal, Evelyn Lozada and created their own reality, is when he was dropped from the New England Patriots. SMH, See now Chad is an unemployed ex football player that is probably sitting on his couch wondering what went wrong. Well I'll tell you Chad, you got too caught up in the spot light also and forgot to do the job that you were getting paid for. Chad doesn't have the reality show anymore because of an recent incident between Chad and his wife, Evelyn Lozada, where Ochocinco was arrested for domestic violence. Yeah Chad we know you head butted Evelyn lol, however we have yet to hear the reason of why you head butted her. SMH, Chad hopefully next year is better for you.

Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom's career has always been shuffled around, but he spent most of his basketball career as a forward for the LA Lakers, where he won 2 NBA championships. Odom is only 33 years old and is extremely talented, so why would no NBA pick him up after he was traded to and dropped from the Dallas Mavericks? Well Odom married Khloe Kardashian who is only known from the reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Once Odom started to appear heavily on the show, the LA Lakers traded him to the Dallas Mavericks and Khloe and Odom starred in their own reality show, Khloe & Lamar, where Lamar was then dropped from the Mavericks and out of the NBA a whole season. Recently Lamar and Khloe divorced after having a kid and their show was canceled but coincidently Lamar was also picked up by the LA Clippers soon after his reality show was canceled. Good Luck Lamar hopefully you focus on your game this time around and not an reality show.

Rappers

T.I.

T.I. is a rapper/actor who most people seen him as a trouble maker. After being in prison three times while maintaining his rap/acting career T.I. was relevant and making money having platinum albums like Paper Trail. So why is T.I. on this list? Well first of all his wife already starred in a show while T.I. was incarcerated, Tiny and Toya. Having success from the show Tiny continued a show that now included T.I. called T.I & Tiny: The Family Hustle, displaying their lives on television. Soon after the show's success T.I. released another album No Mercy which only reached gold. Yes, some may say gold is still good, but after having multiple certified platinum albums going back to gold is considered a flop. T.I. had a pretty good fan base but once he got his reality show his life as a rapper started to dwindle. T.I. currently is playing to release a new album on December 18, 2012 but I can't say that we care to hear it, especially with a failing mixtape and single off the album that is to be released. My advice to T.I. is to get off of the reality show and go back to focusing on the music because the music will most likely last longer than the show.

The Game

The Game is one rapper that I thought I would never see with their own reality show. The Game has always tried to keep up this hardcore image and to see him show another side of himself is quite entertaining, well at least to me. However I will not say that a reality show is what killed the Game's rap career, but the reality show is killing the one thing his fans thought theat they would always see from the game and that's his hardcore "real" image, and having a reality show doesn't fit that. The Game created a hip-hop classic with The Documentary, and many like myself thought that Game would be the next legendary artist, but boy was we wrong. The Game is simply using this reality show in an attempt to stay relevant, but since filming this reality, Marrying The Game, his music has lost its essence. My advice to the Game is, now that we are inside your personal life try to take a different route when creating music, because we now see that the hardcore life you once lived is not there anymore and hopefully your career doesn't dwindle more than it already has.

Jim Jones

The Dipset member created a platinum single when he released We Fly High (Ballin) in 2006. Yes, everyone and their mama knew that song when it hit the streets. Jim Jones had finally got the buzz he had been looking for his whole career with that single. Many had only heard of him from that single, but the Dipset fans knew who he was, because he was as stated before a member of the New York group Dipset. Jim Jones had his hype up especially with the recent split of the group and also hanging out with Cash Money members, Lil Wayne and Birdman. With the fans on his side we were shocked to see him appear on the reality show, Love & Hip-Hop bringing his fans into his personal life. Yes, of course like many others this was an attempt to stay relevant that eventually backfired on him. The former Dipset member album sales has flopped and he has lost a large piece of his fan base because of this show and even worst the show has become some what irrelevant (like most show eventually do). Well Hopefully his next album will get him more fans, Good Luck Jimmy.

Almost Made The List

Lil Scrappy

Its pretty simple as of why Lil Scrappy is not on the list, because he isn't relevant and never really was relevant in hip-hop. Scrappy has not done anything significant in hip-hop to be on this list. I don't even think he has an platinum album, probably not even an platinum single, so yeah. However his sudden apperance on Love & Hip-Hop ATL is the only reason Scrappy ALMOST made the cut. Case Closed!

Mike Vick

Some people are saying, why is Mike Vick not up there? Well this is why, although Vick is probably the most troubled NFL star out I didn't put him on the list because the fall off of his career did not really come from reality tv, especially being that his reality show was not much of a hit. Vick has been in trouble for marijuana and sentenced 2 years in prison because of dog fighting. Once Vick was released from prison the Philadelphia Eagles picked him up and Vick was once again ON FIRE! However now Vick has lost it (maybe because of age), and the Philadelphia Eagles has continued their losing streak.

Hopefully We Won't See Them On The List

Kanye West

Although Kanye is a hip hop legend already he is dating Kim Kardashian who is queen of reality shows and taking down dudes that is with her. So lets hope that Kanye doesn't get caught up into her mess and continue to deliver greatness.

Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony is a starting small forward on the New York Knicks. His wife La La Anthony use to be the host for TRL and was a radio personal. La La is currently starring in her own reality TV show La La Full Court Life but Camelo rarely is seen on the actual reality show. Thank God, lets hope it stays that way.

Athletes and Artist seem to become distracted when they become a part of a reality show. Should we blame reality shows for the death of the artist/athlete's careers? Probably not, because the person is fully aware of the things they should be doing instead of focusing on a reality show that will probably only last a couple of seasons, without reruns aired. Reality Shows goal is to make the relevancy of the artist/athlete last and of course to bring them more revenue, but the drama in the reality shows ultimately get the person off of their tract. Also reality shows are constantly changing and people get tired of shows pretty fast, so the actual reality show will not bring you longevity but simply fast income that eventually will die down. With that being said you're better off sticking to and perfecting your job like football or rapping instead of hoping on a reality show. Normally I would add some text and photos of people that have successfully maintained their artist fan base or athletic job while being the star of an reality show, but I couldn't find any, so with that being said. Case Closed!

Chris Brown DELETES his Twitter (Chris Brown VS Jenny Johnson)

Chris Brown deletes his twitter after a vulgar argument with TV producer and comedian, Jenny Johnson.
The feud started after Brown tweeted a photo of himself with the caption, "I look old as f---! I'm only 23." Johnson, who has been taking comedic pot shots at Brown online for several years since the singer pleaded guilty to felony assault on ex- (and perhaps current) girlfriend Rihanna responded with the comment, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s--- can really age a person." The feud continued with more comments leading singer, Chris Brown to delete, well disable his twitter account.

Personally I think Jenny Johnson needs to get more of a life because Chris's relationship and tweets has nothing to do with her. Not that I agree with Chris Brown beating up a female, but Chris has taken lost since the incident, and if Rihanna can forgive him than Johnson should. Jenny Johnson has been harassing Brown since the incident, and that is not her place. Maybe Brown would deserve the harassment if he had tweeted something about the incident, but he didn't. Ultamentally Rihanna decisions are her decisions and not Chris Brown's so he should not be looked at in a certain way based on her decisions, only his own decisions. Yeah, Chris Brown was wrong for beating up Rihanna but if Rihanna continues any kind of relationship with Brown than that is not Brown's fault. Jenny Johnson really just should leave Chris Brown alone he didn't do her anything so maybe she should try minding her own business, in my opinion.

There, their, and they're.

Don't ask questions. Connect the dots.

I'm not really here to announce anything or even say anything major this time. This post doesn't really count. I'm just here to give you a brief, fundamental English lesson. There is no reason for you all to be pushing 18, 21, 25, or maybe even 30 and not knowing how to use the words their, there, and they're. You should have Rosetta Stone English blasting in your headphones instead of Chief Keef. This is inexcusable. It's even more inexcusable if you're in college. For everyone else, this still should have been mastered upon exiting elementary school. You should have still been getting whoopings when you mastered this. No way you should have hit puberty before learning this.

No way this is difficult.

That picture saved me from doing a lot of typing. Regardless, this is an example of how to speak English. It's the same thing with "you're" and "your". "Your" is possessive, and "you're" simple means "you are". There is nothing difficult about this. Stop acting like you were educated in Detroit and use your words correctly. Then, we can move forward.

I'm not here to make anyone feel stupid, or to make myself seem smart. I just want us to stop talking like slavery ended yesterday. I know some of you may be looking throughout this whole post for typos and grammar errors. Even if you do find some, guess who doesn't care. If I did use wrong grammar here or there, does that make YOU any less stupid? (This only applies if you're looking for errors). No. Their are better things to do with you're life. (Happy now?) Make speaking proper English one of them.

Today: Thanksgiving, Tomorrow: Black Friday

It's Thanksgiving, so I'm gonna keep it brief, but...Happy Thanksgiving, folks! I know most of you are probably going ham on some turkey and chopping it up with your families, followed by a family viewing of some good ole' traditional football. There's nothing more heart-warming than being around your family (unless they're dysfunctional) and eating a big, unhealthy dinner. Ahhh, Thanksgiving.

 Adrian Peterson All-Madden stiff arm.

All of that goes out the window at 12 o'clock, though. People go from being thankful to being greedy in under 60 seconds. People leave from their families to go act like animals in front of retail stores. Hell, some people don't even spend time with their families (like these idiots), they skip out on Thanksgiving to be vanity slaves and greedy consumers. I'm not complaining, though. I get to be entertained by you idiots. I get to watch Worldstar fights because y'all wanna fight over Xboxes. Weren't you just standing in a circle the day before talking about what you were thankful for? Act like it, fam. So you're going to talk about how thankful you are for family, then go and beat up somebody's family member for a HDTV? Cool...cool. They're already raping your pockets with fake deals. Now you're gonna get beat and go home broke. You gotta go home and explain to your wife and kids that got faded for an iPad and still came home empty handed. Crazy right? Now your kids aren't gonna respect you when you tell them to do something, and your wife is gonna walk all over you.

White Friday

In all seriousness, though...Black Friday is such a scam to me. People spend MORE money on a day meant for discounts. A good percentage of these people are living paycheck-to-paycheck, so why drive yourself deeper into the hole trying to buy expensive gadgets. Your Christmas is gonna be looking nice, but guess who's gonna be broke in January. Guess who's gonna drive themselves deeper into credit card debt. This is all happening because they gradually raised the prices before Black Friday, then lowered them back on Black Friday. Congratulations, stupid.

WOMEN BREAK THEIR OWN HEARTS

Hello viewers, lets be honest females do not thrive in logic as much males do. This is known by both genders. So Females why fall into the " I love you " trap, then the "I miss you " trap, then the " I miss what we had " trap. Only fall for the actions of " I Love You " etc. If a faithful man is what you desire attract it. Take responsibility for why you don't have what you want in a man and look at yourself. 1. PROTECT THE VAGINA at all cost don't give it up wait a couple months ( they'll leave or get caught up before then, meaning your not that important to them ). if you don't have self control, then you'll pay the cost on your emotions 2. USE INTUITION OR YOUR GUT FEELING ignore your natural female intuition, pay the cost on your emotions. 3. ANALYZE, don't fall victim to denial YOU CAN'T CHANGE HIM face it. 4. NEVER GIVE YOUR POWER, if you ever show him has any power over your HEART until he's proven worthy you will indeed have to pay a cardiovascular fine. 5. YOUR ARE BEAUTIFUL know you can achieve what you want your a woman, you have control before you bust it open, after that you got nada. FOLLOW @livelivellc and @horizonofficial

Kanye is back "Diamonds (Remix)"

Kanye West hops on Rihanna smash hit "Diamonds." Many of music listeners and Kanye fans were concerned with Kanye's music lately. Although the album "Cruel Summer" was a hit, the album debuted at number 2, unlike like his past number 1 albums. Some began to wonder if Kanye had fallen off, but with his verse on the single Diamonds (remix) we no longer have to wonder. Although this is not the best of Kanye, in this song you we can clearly see that Kanye has not fallen off and lyrics are still up to par. Keep doing your thing Kanye! I can't wait for the highly anticipated album Cruel Winter to drop, although we have yet to here of an actual release date. Now Check out Ye verse on "Diamonds (Remix)."

Jay-Z: The G.O.A.T?

As much as I'd hate to admit it, Jay-Z is probably the greatest rap artist to ever step foot in a studio. We always argue nowadays about who is better than who, and why. When it boils down to it, intangibles included, Jay-Z is insurmountable. Obama even used Jay-Z to campaign for his presidency. Therefore, any refute to these claims is invalid.

Off jump, you're naming people that can out-spit Jay-Z on a track. You may find a handful of those artists. Now, go back through those artist and find someone as successful. Jay-Z epitomizes everything that your favorite rapper wants/wanted to be. Disregard his ability to store minerals in his back and look at the facts. Jay-Z has 11 platinum solo albums, pimp. Numbers lie a little bit (Lil Wayne), but this is undeniable. Also, Jay has maintained relevancy throughout nearly two decades. That's something that we don't know if Pac and Biggie would have been able to do (and never will). He has dropped platinum and classic albums (Reasonable Doubt & The Blueprint) albums in two separate eras of hip-hop. He adapted to the change in music over time. He also makes music that appeals to fans of multiple sub genres. White people even love his music. If you can rap in  room full of suit-wearing white people and still get head-nods, you got something going. That's not a strong claim though. A better claim would be that Jay-Z made entendres and wordplay cool. Big L died, so all the credit goes to Jay-Z. Anywho, Jay still has some nice wordplay. Even the small things like, "Like short sleeves, I bare arms", he still finds ways to fit those punchlines in there. When it comes to storytelling, look for songs like "Dopeman" on Vol 3. Jay-Z has versatility to his lyricism that makes him impeccable. Even more, he can go bar for bar with anyone in the genre of hip-hop. (I'm not saying he's the bar-for-bar best, though.)

All in all, Jay-Z is still dropping platinum projects. "Watch the Throne" went platinum in what, a month? Jay-Z is how old? Jay-Z is the perfect representative of the hip-hop genre. He doesn't give us a bad name like those coon artists do. He actually positively represents the culture. If there's anyone you think is more deserving of the G.O.A.T title, let me know in the comment box below. I'm out, though. I'm gonna go play NBA 2K13 now....executively produced by Jay-Z.

Artist with Longevity

In every artist's career there is that point that I call the "STOP" point. Meaning every artist comes to that phase where they have to put out a good solid album or mixtape in order to stay relevant, because staying relevant is not as easy as some like: Jay-Z, Wayne, Nas etc...(see my still relevant artist from the 90's post) might mak it seem. Once an artist gets past the "Stop" point, they become forever relevant, and could put out music at anytime with the music still becoming a hit. Having an established fan base, giving the artist supporters at all times, even if the music is "trash."
So my question is who in 2012 do you think has done this? Which artist in 2012 could you picture yourself listening to in 2022 or even 2032? Here are the people I chose:

Drake

I know most people think Drizzy is too sap and has fallen off since his "Comeback Season" and "Room for Improvement" day's, but actually he hasn't. Drake expanded his fan base while continuing to make hip-hop hits. Drake still has yet to deliver a lyrically bad verse (think about it). I think Drizzy has overcome his "Stop" point and will extend his fan base with his third album. However it is possible for Drake to not be as relevant if he were to drop a "trash" album, but Drizzy could easily pick up his fans with just one hit single. Drizzy said "he is the first rapper to successfully sing and rap," and I some what agree with him. I know there's Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Pharrell, and others, but when you think of Drake you literally think of a rapper that always sings. What I mean by literal is that people like L. Hill and Erykah Badu, you think of them as a singer and then a rapper, and with Pharrell you think of producer first. The point is if Drake were to leave the game right now and come back in 3 years he would still be relevant and have his fan base. I see Drake as POSSIBLY being the next Jay-Z far as relevancy.

Wiz Khalifa

Man I don't know what it is about Wiz Khalifa, but everyone (including myself) love this guy. You just got to love Wiz, if you don't like his new stuff than you like his old stuff and vice versa. Wiz has evolved into more of a rock star than a rapper. With his great performances, wide fan base and versatile style Wiz is sure to stay around in the next decade or so. Along with his marriage to Amber Rose, with the thanks of Kanye West, Wiz has been in the public eye even when he hasn't came out with new music. Wiz might have lost some of his original fans but he gained even more star quality. Like I stated Wiz is more of a rock star than a rapper now and I wouldn't be surprise if he started playing the guitar anyday now.

 Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy!?!?!? How is he on here but not Kendrick, is what most of you are probably thinking. Well Soulja Boy actually has a crazy overseas fan base such as: China and Most of Europe. Soulja Boy also is a big business man which helps artist maintain their relevancy, and being so young Soulja Boy has much more time to grow and expand. Soulja Boy music may not keep him relevant, but if he continues with his business endeavors remaining relevant enough in order to keep selling records than he will stay relevant. Lets just hope the recent drug usage rumors are false.

People I didn't choose

J. Cole

After hearing mixtapes like Come Up, Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights, his fans were expecting "Greatness." Coleworld: The Sideline Story was fairly successful for the mainstream people, but Cole made a lot of his previous fans wonder "has he lost it." J. Cole has to come hard on his next album to show his old fans that he is still the same old Cole, but J. Cole also doesn't have enough mainstream fans to completely go back to the old Cole and them actually like it. Basically J. Cole is in a sticky place, he is at the peak of his "Stop" point, giving him 2 or more ways where he can fall and become completely irrelevant in the next couple of years. My advise to Cole is to drop a solid album pleasing both fans and after that try to be more consistent when putting out new music, because he is not established enough to only drop new music when his album is about to come out. Consistency is the main key to staying relevant. However having someone like Jay-Z could help Cole in the long run for staying relevant.

    Kendrick Lamar

Oh Lord I know this is a touchy subject. Yes, Kdot is up here. I know some may think we pick on Kendrick a little, but we're not. I just think people are putting Kendrick at such a high pedestal before he actually is deserving of it, and once you're put at such a high pedestal it is hard to fulfill it. If Kdot maintains the pace he's at, than it is very possible that he becomes "untouchable." However Kendrick like many of the others is only at the beginning of their career and a SOLID fan base needs to develope before he is automatically relevant. The perfect example of a artist that was given a lot of hype and eventually became irrelevant is, "The Game." Game dropped a classic album, The Documentary, and still failed to live up to his expectations.

    OFWGKTA

Odd Future? This actually was a toss up for me, because Odd Future is one group that I actually could see staying relevant, but at the same time I can also see them becoming irrelevant. Odd Future is exactly that "ODD" which can both help and hurt the gang. Being different and adding that uniqueness is what creates a solid audience and fan base because they're always looking for the next big thing. Unfortunately Odd Future set the tone for how their audience will always view them, and because of this they always need to stand out. If they do not stand out they may be looked at as falling off or just becoming irrelevant. Another thing is that their Odd image may soon go out of fashion having them fade off. However I do see certain Odd Future artist staying relevant, but not the whole group.

    YMCMB

Okay first of all YMCMB is just way too big, I don't even know who all the members are anymore. Which is why staying relevant will be hard at least for all of them to do so. With the exceptions of Drake, Wayne, and maybe Nicki Minaj, YMCMB members doesn't stand out enough to last a whole decade. I give the group another 4-5 years of relevancy and eventually they'll fade off, just like the other members of "Cash Money." I will truly be surprised if YMCMB last the entire decade.

    MMG

To be real I cannot tell who out of MMG will last longer than 4 years. MMG isn't too big like YMCMB, but no one inside of MMG has brought anything "New" to the game to surpass everyone else that comes out. MMG I feel like is just a phase we all are going through until the next new thing comes out. I am not saying that the members of MMG lack talent, because they're solid rap artist that make pretty good songs, but MMG in my opinion lack versatility that can hold them back in the long one. However if MMG decides to elevate their position in the game it is possible that they will withstand the "Stop" point.

Is Tupac What You Make Him Out to Be?

I touched a little bit on Tupac in my last post, "Top 10 Most Overrated Rappers". If you were pissed then, just go ahead and exit this post. I got credit for you view already, anyway. Anyway, let me begin by saying that Tupac is one my favorite rappers of all time. He's great. His lyrical substance related to people not only in America, but across the globe. He addressed many social issues on and off the mic. As far as impact, and many other intangibles, he may very well be the best to bless a microphone (along with Jay-Z, but I'll discuss that in another post).

    Tupac - Hail Mary

Now, I had to tackle this issue because there are a lot of brainwashed idiots out here (especially on my Twitter timeline) that just won't accept the fact Tupac is not, bar-for-bar, the best rapper ever. I was even open and decided to ask my followers to give me Pac's hottest line. You probably can guess what they said. "I ain't a killer, but don't push me....". You know the rest. Don't get me wrong, that's real sh*t. Now. Where's the creativity in that line? Where's the part where I go, "OHHHHH SH*T!"? Now I FULLY understand that rap is not about punchlines, metaphors, similes, and hyperbole, but you have to have something besides lyrical substance. If "real sh*t" makes you the best, then 1) Most of your favorite rappers are unqualified. 2) There are soooooo many deserving rappers that you don't know about that are soooooo much better than your favorite rappers. Regardless, Pac had nice lines like "I see no change, all I see is racist faces/ Misplaced hate makes disgrace for races", and "Keep a vest for protection, from the barrel of a Smith & Wesson/ And all my niggass in the pen, here we go again/ Ain't nothin' separatin' us from a Mack-10." His had meaning, but what else? Assonance? Cool, I guess. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Tupac wasn't very versatile.

Big L ft. Tupac - Deadly Combination (Biggie's verse isn't really on this song).

    Jay-Z - 22 Two's

    Big L - The Heist

Rappers like Jay-Z, B.I.G, and Big L, during Pac's time period (Big L, a little after) had wordplay, meaningful lines, story-telling abilities, creativity, flow, unique rhyming schemes, etc. As far as rapping, and rapping alone, they had Pac beaten. Don't come at me with the whole "Mannn, Pac was an innovator. He paved the way and influenced..." STOP IT! I'm talking about RAPPING, not street construction. Get outta here, pimp. People always find ways to bring up everything BESIDES rapping when it comes to comparing rappers. Open up your mind.

All in all, Pac is still one of the greatest rap ARTISTS of all time. He made hits, meaningful songs, and great albums. Especially "Me Against the World". He was poetic, revolutionary, and impactful. He elevated the genre and made timeless music. His influence lasted for almost two decades, and will probably be infinite. However, he does not have all the components to be the greatest lyricist, or more generally, the greatest RAPPER of all time. And with that being said, COMMENT BELOW IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM!

Big Boi Upcoming Album "Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors"

There has been rumors about if "Outkast" will be having another album coming out soon, is it true? Well Big Boi addresses the rumors about an upcoming Outkast album and also reveals features for his second Solo album "Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors." He did recently confirm features that include A$AP Rocky and fellow ATLiens Ludacris and T.I.

Big Boi descibes the album as the true "Outkast" style, satisfying his fans by giving them that Outkast feel, which is what we would like to hear, here were his exact words. "Everything's experimental, it's electro-funk this time...everything brand new," the Outkast member said, "it's a full body of work, if you've been following Outkast from day one...it's always about the full body of work.

Addressing the Outkast album rumors Big Boi says "whenever he's ready, you know what I'm saying, I've been making music and have not stopped making music...whenever my partner's ready we'll do it...I talk to him all the time...that's my partner, my best friend, my brother, till I die," finally adding, "ya'll got to ask him." However Big Boi did not address the rumors of Andre 3000 solo album which I know we are all wondering about.

Giving fans like myself hope that one day soon there will be another Outkast album. Outkast is one of the most successful Hip-Hop groups of all time, so there will always be fans waiting for whats's next?...
Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors is set to be released on December 11th and we can't wait.

    Top 10 Overrated Rappers.

Let me warn you before-hand, this list will be weird as hell, because I'm mixing dead and living rappers. It's going to be weird seeing the mixture of rappers you see in this post. You may even call me stupid.  Nonetheless, this should be an interesting blog post. I get to come up with 10 rappers that you all worship and praise that are, in actuality, overrated. I pray to God that one of your favorite rappers make this list. As a matter of fact, I'll bet you all of my FAFSA money that my number one pick is going to piss you off. With that being said, let's get this list started, shall we?

    10. Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne almost didn't make this list. Wait, let me explain. He didn't almost not make it because he's too good for it, but because he's garbage. However, there somewhere near 1,000,000 idiots out there who have bought that garbage can space occupier, that is the Carter 4. I'm still in denial that Lil Wayne still has a fan base. Like....wow. And the fact that he has "I Am Not A Human Being" dropping soon? Mannn look....he can keep that.

    9. Stalley

The hell is he wearing, fam? Bruh's casual clothes look like camo equipmet? Anyway, Stalley is overrated because his fans AND he, himself overrates himself. He truly believes that he is a hard-body lyricist and a true representative of "True Hip-Hop". Ask my blog-mate Alisha. He is the Meg Griffin/Jojo Simmons of MMG. No one cares about him. He was the kid that got left at the store by his parents and they didn't notice until they got home. His lyrics are very subpar. Exactly how relevant is he again? That makes me think, maybe he didn't even deserve a spot on this list. I digress, though.

    8. Kendrick Lamar

WAIT! LET ME EXPLAIN! Kendrick Lamar is my favorite rapper, before I continue. Now, there are a lot of people out there who put Kendrick on THE highest pedestal. Come on, fam. He really just dropped his first album. I mean...yeah, it was a classic (in my eyes), but you can't throw around that "best" term just. Let em' prove himself with consistency first, idiot. Most of you only like him because he raps fast anyway. A good percentage of you don't even digest lyrics, or even care to. Kendrick has also made my second least favorite song ever (next to Drake's "Crew Love") in "Michael Jordan". That song was horrid. He's still a great rapper though, and quite possibly the future of hip-hop.

    7. Curren$y

It took me a while to start explaining this. I spent too much time laughing at this picture. Anyway, I'm not going to call Curren$y trash, man. I can't say he's garbage, because he's not. He's actually pretty decent. He has hit tapes such as Covert Coupe and the Pilot Talk 2, but he also is hip-hop's Eore (spell check). He is boring! You got to set your alarm clock for the next day before you listen to Curren$y. Don't mess around and have an important day ahead of you the next day and listen to Curren$y. You will fall into a deep coma and whatever you had planned for that day...forget about it. I'm getting tired just wri....zzzzzzzz.

    6. Big Sean

I don't know why you smiling at me, fam....you overrated. Your nursery rhymes and unnecessary onomatopoeia makes you sound stupid. "Wow, bow, look at me now." No. "I love girls that's Arabian, Albanian, Caucas-ien?" Shut up, bruh. Big Sean can still spit though. I won't deny him that. But there's speculation that he is the future. Let me just tell you now....no. He's a swag rapper now. Back on Finally Famous (mixtape) - Finally Famous 3, he was coming with bars. "Detroit" was even nice, but y'all just have to chill.

    5. Kid Cudi

What the hell is he even doing? You childish, bruh. Kid Cudi is weird. His music is weird. He epitomizes weird. Apparently y'all like him for that. He stands out to y'all because, instead of rapping, he likes to hum and moan on instrumentals and deliver them to you. It must be because he's a stoner, right? It has to be. "Man on the Moon" was a solid project. I can't lie, but this is rap, fam. Rap. You playing on staircases when you could be fixing the problem. Kid Cudi, once again, isn't bad. Y'all just make him to be this great rapper when he's not. Remember back when you all compared him to Drake? LMFAO!

    4. Kanye West

Are y'all calling me stupid yet? Do you hate me yet? Yep, Mr. West is overrated. I'm not going to take anything away from his creativity and his artistry, but lyrically? Mannnn. "I put suicides on the private jet/ You know what that means, I'm fly to death." He also said something in the realm of, "I'm sh*tting on you n*ggas, holy crap." Kanye's clearly not where he used to be lyrically. He still composes good music, but he has fallen off. He's stepping it up with verses like "New God Flow", though. He just has too many die-hard fans that are too blind to realize that he no longer cares. Neither Kanye nor Jay-Z care. They just spit whatever they want...because they can. I think Jay has earned that right...not Kanye.

    3. Wale

Some of you are rejoicing. Some of you are cringing. Wale could have possibly been number one if I didn't have number 1 and 2 thought up already. Wale is inexplicably overrated. It's ridiculous. He comes at you with this ever so repetitive flow with these pseudo-deep lines. And his poetry! My goodness. Y'all eat that poetry up. Wale takes that deep breath between words in his lines to make it sound deeper. He also likes to chuckle at his punchlines in the middle of his bars. What's funny, pimp? I don't hate Wale, though. I actually like him. Crazy, right? I hope his album will make me change my views.

    2. Eminem

Well...this is awkward. I'm gonna explain myself though. Eminem is one of the greatest, in theory, but is he really the Jesus you all make him out to be. Eminem may have one of the best rap songs in history with "Stan", but that's not what you all overrate him for. You all, like Kendrick Lamar, overrate him because he raps fast...with assonance. He can put cereal, ethereal, and imperial in a sentence and you all will flip. On another note, when is the last great album he has dropped? Do NOT say "Recovery". Do NOT say "Relapse". Nonetheless, you all call Eminem the best rapper alive today. Lie. Say, perhaps, we switch Eminem's flow with Lupe's. Lupe has that lyricism that will make his raps even more mind-blowing. Eminem would be average. Period. Lupe has a sub-par flow, but still is great because of his nice lyricism and wordplay. I digress.

    1. Tupac

"OH HELLL NAW". I know. It'll be ok. Pac is often called the greatest of all time when it comes to this rap thing. Truthfully, Pac couldn't go bar-for-bar with a lot of the rappers of our generation. He was impactful, poetic, and revolutionary, but those bars. Look, I know you're still shook, but face it...you all overrate him. Pac was also extremely repetitive. Listen to a Pac album and take a shot of liquor to the head for every time he says "penitentiary". You will not live to see the next day. The point is, he had tons of lyrical substance, but not as much creativity in his lyricism. He That's what make's rap a bit more interesting. I have a question, though. How many of you (who call Tupac the greatest) have sat through at least two albums worth of his music? Ok.

All in all, I do not believe that any of the artist on this list are completely trash (except for Wayne and Stalley). Heck, one of them is even my absolute favorite rapper. The point is, you all have to stop overrating rappers. You ruin those rappers for other people when you put rappers on a pedestal. We're all guilty. Welp, I've said my piece. COMMENT ON THE BOTTOM AND VOICE YOUR OPINION! Goodnight.

America. Such a wonderful place were we call Pirates Conquistadors and praise them for holding Native Americans at gun point and saying "gimme your land, and for now ima call yall Indians". America you have done it again. And now the decendants of the conquistadors are proud of the their ancestors genecide. Now a man of African/European decent ( that makes racist people look more stupid due to the fact that our blood are intwined by this dysfunctional melting pot of America ) takes office once again and CERTAIN PEOPLE are sad. Boo hoo get over it.

Country Boy should run for the election he so clever. Its definitly a shame that nobody of intelligence can speak for the racist people. Then I would value their opinion but since there is none, I just like to laugh to my self and be satisfied with President Obama's victory only because the ignorance entertains me. Congradulations to those who made the blog due too Obama hate. Dont blame Obama for his existence blame the caucastion mother of his. And then blame your grandmother for not giving birth to your dream presidents. Hmm I guess her womb just didn't  have talented amneotic fluid. America is a bad case of "Practice what you Preach".We Preach Equality we practice Racism. And their will forever be excuses and justification for racism. Im ready for the country to grow. I hope Obama is and his country needs his support so whoever in opposition of the winner of the election can go home and have irrelavant opinions.
