This hilarious, "not so funny" comedy definitely adds spark to the end of 2014. Rock plays Andre Allen, a troubled comedian who's tired of being exploited by the media. The film also stars Rosario Dawson, who plays Chelsea Brown, a NY Times Journalist. Rock in the movie wants the media to "take him seriously," and begins promoting a serious movie about the Haitian slave rebellion. The cameras follow Rock and Dawson, while she is interviewing him about his upcoming wedding.
The film shows you a serious side of Rock, while maintaining his comical demeanor. I suggest that the film is loosely based on rapper Kanye West life, as Rock's character is marrying a reality star and their wedding is the center of the media's attention. The film brings much laughter with a nice serious balance, good job Chris Rock! Live L!ve gives you 5 stars.

The above tweets shows a series of rants that rapper Lil Wayne, doesn't want to be a part of Cash Money Records any longer. Stating that the company has held is upcoming album Tha Carter V, while taking his creativity. This is shocking news as the rapper has been a part of the label since entering the music industry. Being that he's the CEO of Young Money which is a sub-label underneath Cash Money. This makes me wonder if he's only doing this for publicity. Only time will tell, because throughout all of the artist issues on the label Lil Wayne is the only artist to remain faithful to the company, passing on deals with Jay-Z, not branching off to his own direct label, and even being photographed kissing Birdman in the mouth. We will watch closely on this situation, because the outcome of this situation has the ability to alter the dynamics of the hip hop business. How so? Well, Drake has already separated himself from the label, Nicki Minaj adores Lil Wayne, meaning that once Lil Wayne leaves that there’s a strong possibility that Nicki will also. Drake, Wayne, and Nicki are the lead artist in Cash Money, and are the only artist with definite longevity inside of the music industry. Last night, November 24, 2014, the Ferguson, Missouri Grand Jury announced their verdict in the case of Mike Brown vs. Darren Wilson. In the case of the Mike Brown murder Wilson was not indicted. The country is in outrage once again, protesting, rioting, and social media is "going off." My family asked me if I were going to attend a protest in Atlanta, GA, but my question is what's the point? The reality of the situation is that this is no longer a shock; a police officer gunned down a defenseless man and got off. Yes, this is wrong, there is no way around the situation when an officer who's given certain training procedures does not follow them, but are you honestly surprised.
I will not go to a protest suggesting race issues which we know by now that racism is prevalent in this country. I will only attend a protest that suggests equality instead of awareness on an ongoing issue. Turning to racism every time something happens is not the answer, this is only a hindrance to our growth. Once again, I am not saying that racism doesn't exist, because we clearly see this society. I am simply saying that suggesting racism constantly isn't how we eliminate the problem. Murder is wrong, black on black, white on white, black on white, white on black etc... Doesn't matter what color, occupation, position, etc... Murder is wrong!
So how do we solve this problem? Only through unity may we elevate our society past the ongoing issues that divides our world. At these protest instead of saying words like "this isn't right, because racism exist," we should say "color is not the issue the unfairness to people, generally speaking is the issue." This is not a race issue, but a government and societal issue. Ask yourself about the above tweet: if you wanted to keep things as they are, what plan would you develop to keep society divided?
Eliminate the division and unity shall begin.

I officially claim the year 2k14 of "That ASS." Between Nicki Minaj's Anaconda cover art and Kimy K's Paper cover, that's enough ass for the year. Kim Kardashian crashed the internet yesterday with her front cover issue on Paper Magazine. How do you feel about this? I'm not surprised of this exposure from Kim I mean she has a leaked sex tape, but I wish she was seen for the brains over sexuality. Kim Kardashian is a business and should be acknowledged as such. Hopefully this doesn't confuse the younger generation into thinking that beautiful women should only be seen as a sex symbol. No, I am not against nude photography and I am not judging Kim, but art and sex are different. There is some art that is sexual, but this cover is clearly exploiting just sex. I feel like it was highly unnecessary to grease her already desirable body up to add to the sexual display. Women I just think we should hold our self to a much higher pedestal.

While performing for a fashion show in Brooklyn, while sitting down this photo was captured. The photo looks as if Minaj's butt is completely separate from her thigh. The photo has gone viral so it’s only right to talk about the picture. This doesn’t surprise me, because Nicki Minaj has always made ass shots references, but she never has directly said “my ass is phony.” She’s still an influential rapper with or without her big ass. Frightening incident occurred on August 30, to rapper Kid Cudi, while performing "Pursuit of Happiness" at Chicago's North Coast Music Festival. After high-fiving fans and signing some autographs, at around the one-minute mark in the video, the rapper suddenly loses consciousness and begins to fall backwards. Thankfully, alert security guards manage to catch Cudi before he hits the ground and quickly band together to carry the rapper out of the photo pit. Following the incident, Kid Cudi responds by tweeting to his concerned fans. "I'm ok!! Blessed to have fans who actually give a fuck about me," Cudi tweeted. "Mad love to the security who were there and helped me out tonight. Really awesome dudes! Thanx for nursing me back to health ha. Ill do a better and make sure to eat properly on show days :) scouts honor! I love you Chicago. Don't you forget that shit. Ever. If I scared anyone tonight I am so so sorry from the bottom of my heart."
Words cannot really express this performance, the performance was almost identical to the official video, except the performance had more clothes and excluded the lap dance to Drake. Honestly I found the performance quite extreme but Nicki did rock the hell out of the stage. Following the performance Nicki Minaj seemed to have had a wardrobe malfunction or she just like holding her dress up.

Beyonce of course having a great performance, she might just be the world best entertainer, since the death of Michael Jackson.

Comedian and actor Robin Williams dies at age 63. Such a sudden and heart felt death. Known for his laughter and happy go lucky spirit, Williams had been suffering from depression for awhile now. Coroner investigators suspect "the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia," according to a statement from the Marin County, California, Sheriff's Office. Williams married graphic designer Susan Schneider in Napa Valley, California, ceremony in October 2011. Schneider sent a written statement to CNN through the representative.
"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. "On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions." The death of Robin Williams has shocked everyone, such a tragic lost.
"Target said it has signed a court brief backing marriage equality in a pending court case and publicly declared its support of gay marriage, a move similar to those taken by Starbucks, Intel and Apple.
"It is our belief that everyone should be treated equally under the law, and that aincludes rights we believe individuals should have related to marriage," Target Executive Vice President of Human Resources Jodee Kozlak wrote on the company's blog.
Target has come under fire in the past from gay rights activists who threatened boycotts after the retailer — along with Best Buy and 3M — donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to an organization that supported Republican Tom Emmer, a vocal opponent of gay marriage, in the 2010 Minnesota governor's race.

Last night ESPY Awards was full of laughs and surprises, being hosted by Grammy Award Winning Rapper Drake. Drizzy was a great host keeping the crowd smiling. Kevin Durant and his OKC Thunder was the big winners last night, being nominated for 4 of the 31 awards and winning 2 of that 4 awards.
